Merry Christmakah!

Hello blogger peeps!

Merry Christmas. I hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas and Hanukkah so far. I certainly have. My hubby and I had a deal that this year we would NOT exchange presents for each other and instead just focus on our son. We really just wanted to save our money, easy right?

Well.......I kept my side of the bargain.....Yup, my hubby did NOT. He got me a brand new laptop. Which I am using as we speak. Its beautiful, I gotta admit, and fast. Like REAL fast! I say this because my last laptop was circa 2004, I know ancient. Basically geriatric! It was so slow it took 10 minutes to load anything. And I guess I must have complained so much about it that my hubby just wanted to shut me up with a new one. Well I guess my constant nagging worked.....but now I just feel bad. Not about the complaining, no, that was necessary......I just feel bad about not getting anything for him for Christmas. In all fairness, I really should just be annoyed with him. I mean really, what nerve to go back on our deal. And who ends up looking like the bad guy now? ME! So not fair. But I can't be that mad, he got me a freaking brand new laptop!! And if I know my hubby as well as I do, I am sure he got a very good deal on it. Is he cheap? Yes, but I do love him for that, because I am too!

So I will just sit here and just enjoy my new laptop and say thanks. Maybe I'll get him a present next year.....well see....:)

  1. I'm sure that your surprise and delight in receiving a new laptop was all the gift your husband needed! Just give him lots of grateful hugs and tell him how wonderful he is until your guilt wears off. :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! Now I'm off to play with my new Kindle Fire.
